Closing the Soccer Complex for the Summer
Please be advised that due to the extreme weather conditions this spring, The Town of Stonewall and the Stonewall Youth Soccer Association will be closing the Soccer Complex for the summer to repair the Fields .
We have stopped cutting and lining the fields, as of this week, and will be aerating and reseeding the fields in an attempt to re-establish grass in the damaged areas. The aerating and reseeding process will start June 25 and continue through to August 22.
Hello Everyone, on Saturday June 13th, SYSA hosted our 3rd Annual Soccer Festival in Stonewall. We were able to play 29 games of Soccer, cooked over 800 hot dogs and feed over 1000 players, parents and visitors to our soccer complex. It was the largest single day of soccer in Stonewall's history.
I would like to thank all of the volunteers, coaches, referees and parents for making this a great day for our Association
I hope all that attended had a great time and look forward to a greater event next year.
If anyone has pictures of the event, please send them to rschkaw@shaw.ca and we will post them on our website
Thank you
Bob Schkawritka President SYSA
