2010 OUTDOOR SOCCER REGISTRATION
Who:  Ages 3 and up

Complete the  registration form and attach the required cheques and mail to
Box 1335, Stonewall, MB, R0C 2Z0. Cheques are made payable to
Stonewall Youth Soccer Association.

Reminder:  Bring your child’s Medical Number at time of registration

Equipment and Safety:

• Shin Pads are mandatory for all ages and levels of play. Preferred and safest method
  for Shin Pads to be worn will be under proper soccer socks.
• Soccer Socks are mandatory for all ages.
• Soccer Shoes are optional (but recommended) for age 8
  and under and compulsory for ages 9 and up.
• Shorts are compulsory at all ages and will be without pockets, tabs, zipper, loops etc.
  Sweat pants are acceptable for cooler weather.
• Soccer Balls – Players will bring a soccer ball to practice
• Players will bring a water bottle to games and practices
• Jewelry, chains, earrings and watches must be removed. 
• Peaked caps are dangerous to other players and are not allowed during play.
  Soft caps may be used by players in extreme weather.
  

Jerseys:

• Ages 3 to 8 inclusive are provided with a numbered T-shirts by Stonewall Youth  Soccer.
  
• Ages 9 and up are provided uniforms comprised of a Home Jersey and  1 pr. of shorts.
  A separate uniform deposit cheque for $75.00 will be submitted at the time of Registration.
  At the end of the season, on return of the entire uniform set,
  the cheque will be destroyed.
  If the uniform set is not returned by Oct 15, your cheque will be cashed. 

Late Registrations:

• Registrations after the official Registration Date of Feb 18  2010
   may be submitted by mail to Stonewall Soccer, Box 1335, Stonewall, MB; R0C 2Z0.
  Cheques for both entry and uniform deposit must be enclosed in order for the
  Registration to be valid.
   Registrations received after March 5, 2010 will be charge a $10.00 late fee. 

Refunds  - A $25 administration fee will be deducted if a player quits prior to the first game. No refunds will be granted if the team has played one game.

Teams:

• Ages 3 to 8 inclusive are co-ed teams and will play within an in-house non traveling program. 
  Following the National and Provincial programs.
  
  * Starting at age 9 year and older, teams will be separate into girls and boys teams, and will play in Winnipeg and Stonewall.
  Teams will travel into Winnipeg to compete in the Winnipeg Youth Soccer Association (WYSA). Home Games and Practices will take place in Stonewall  

When do we start:

• Weather permitting; practices usually start near the Mid of April,
  with league games starting the beginning of April 30  until the June 29.  
  The league will restart in late August and continue until the first week of October.
  Depending on the coach, weekend practices may be scheduled.

 Where are games played: VMSC, Centennial School or the High School

• Ages 3/4,.5/6 and 7/8 co-ed teams teams will play in Stonewall (VMSC soccer complex - beside hockey rink)
  Ages 9 and up boys and girls teams will play in Winnipeg and Stonewall locations. 

 Schedule:

• 3 – 8 year old co-ed teams – Monday and Wednesday evenings. (6:00 - 7:15)
• 9 and up girls and boys to be determined by Winnipeg Youth  Soccer League schedule
